Welcome
Welcome to the Alaskan Outland Little League Umpires websiteThis page is placed online to allow the Far North Little League Umpires to communicate with each other, as well as the audience we serve. This umpire's group is comprised strictly of volunteers who dedicate their time and experience to helping the youth of South Anchorage achieve their personal best.
By providing a central location for umpires to volunteer for games and select which games they can fit into their schedule, as well as providing a method of communications for both the umpires and their leagues, this site provides a substantial benefit to the community as a whole. We would like to encourage you in volunteering your time with your local Little League, as each group is always in need of dedicated individuals willing to spend time helping us grow our kids.
Far North Little League (formally Simonian Little League) has had it's Umpire-In-Chief (UIC) Mr. Mark Weisman in place for two years and the umpires have begun to take on a new role, that of a game facilitator, ensuring that each game has enough volunteers to run, as well as all the safety concerns are addressed and taken care of properly.
Assistance can be provided to the individual umpires for their gear in either replacement or initial purchases. In addition, Far North will provide a "loaner" set stored in a locker in the snack-shack located on site. This set is a loaner set, to be replaced upon completion of the game used.
To see what games are happening at which field, use the Tournament Search feature located in the upper left corner. This feature will allow you to search through the games by either field location or level of play.
